The Choking Feature In Drum Racks
In this tutorial from the 2nd Ultimate Ableton Video Collection shows us how to do something I wanted to know how to do for a long time and is extremely useful when building your own drum kits, and that is "choking" Meaning one clip in your rack will "choke" or stop another when it is triggered. The most common example is hi-hats, you want your open hi-hat sample to stop when you trigger a closed hi-hat.
Just watch and learn. Its very simple.
